just a short word after all these years

Hi.

It's been, what, 3 years since I last wrote on this blog. It makes me happy to see that it has 26,000+ pageviews, but when I see that most of it comes from weird websites, I can't help but feel a little down.

I'm not very young like I used to be. My English standard might have dropped (yes, my 12-year-old self could have written better than the current me, there is a possibility) and now I'm a gamer, a visual novel reader and an anime watcher. All the games that I used to play have changed majorly somewhat in some way, or have already shut it's doors to many gamers who used to play it frequently, myself included.

Ahh, it gives me a wave of nolstagia just to read this blog again. Maybe I should start writing again. Or maybe I should just leave this blog back in the dust where it belongs. But I feel like I need to write again.

If you're a person who's fond of writing- do you ever get that tingling sensation in your hands sometimes when you feel the need to write? I'm feeling that now, and that's why I'm writing-- well, not writing, but typing.

The world has changed so much since back then.

Donald Trump won the presidential election.
The Dab came about.
The terrorist extravaganza took up many headlines.
And well, I grew fatter. Or more horizontally challenged, as much might say. (just kidding. I'm not that fat.)

Well, if you're reading this, thanks for listening to my brain fart.
And if SOMEHOW you've been following this blog for all these years, I apologise and thank you at the same time.

After years of writing on this blog, like 'Dumb Cow',  I have decided to stop updating this blog once and for all.

This website is becoming quite outdated and I simply cannot find extra time to update this blog when I am doing my own stuff.

Well, all good things come to an end. I would like to thank all the people who subscribed to this blog and I would like to specially thank 'Dumb Cow', who is also a gaming blogger. He has helped me make game blogging more fun and interesting. Thanks, friend.

Recommended Games for You: Star Wars: The Old Republic

       Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG based on the olden times of the infamous Star Wars series. SWTOR has also been listed as the MMO with the fastest-growing community, reaching a million subscribers in just three days from its launch in December 20, 2011.
        The game depicts you as the main character, and you have to choose your faction, species, class and looks of your character. Ultimately, you will embark on a journey, saving- or destroying the people you meet. When you have played about 4-5 hours of the game you will receive your first companion. Your companion will assist you on combat, politics and other things you can't do. At Level 10, you will have to choose an advanced class that fits your style of play.
        The two factions that you will be able to choose from when you begin are the Republic and the Sith Empire. The Republic's classes are Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Smuggler and Trooper. For the Sith Empire, it is the Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent.
         One class or another, in your journey, you will meet powerful mobs and you have to defeat them, teamwork is the key sometimes when you group together with other players to defeat bosses and enormous war droids.
        The only downside of the game is the duration it takes to download the game. It takes more than three hours to download from the online client but will take less than 20 minutes to download it if you purchase a disc from a nearby game store. The fees for subscription is fair but it has definitely more privileges than free to play.
        I shan't reveal too much surprises. Go try the game for yourself now!

Recommended Games for You: Team Fortress 2!

        Recently, a friend told me to try out this game. The moment I played 1 game, I realized the game was pretty much awesome. It's available on Steam and what's better? It's free to play!

         This first-person shooter game is Team Fortress 2. It's basically just joining a team and completing a challenge to win the match. There are two game modes: Red v. Blu and Mann vs. Machine.
          In Red v. Blu you have to join a team and choose a class-which is a character-to use to play the game. The categories consist of Offense, Defence and Support. In the first category, there is the Scout, the Soldier and the Pyro. The Scout is the fastest class of all and deals damage when using his pistol. The Soldier, which uses the rocket launcher, is the typical class which beginners would choose. The Pyro is infamously known for his flamethrower which deals alot of damage in seconds and causes afterburn when using the flamethrower on an opponent.
           In Defense, there is the Demoman (Demolition Man) , Heavy and Engineer. The Demoman does not have guns but mainly holds grenade and stickybomb launchers, in which the latter sticks to the ground and can be detonated afterward. The Heavy is the big Russian man which boasts the biggest damage and health but the slowest speed. The minigun is his main weapon. The last in the Defense category, the Engineer, builds Sentry Guns, Dispensers and Teleporters. Sentry Guns have deadly aim and need to be upgraded to be deadlier and Dispensers can dispense engineer metal, health and ammo, and the teleporters helps players from the same team teleport from one place to another.
           In Support, there is the Medic, the Sniper and the Spy. The Medic can heal teammates with the medigun to accumulate Ubercharge to make teammates invincible for a limited amount of time when the meter is full but gives average damage with his syringes. Players can call for a team medic and he will be notified when a bubble appears at the top of players heads. The Sniper and the Spy is the deadliest of all. The Sniper can aim by sniping at a selected opponent and if he performs a headshot the enemy would die instantly. The Spy can cloak and can also disguise into other players, but invisiblity and cloak wear off if set on fire, receiving damage or receiving fall damage. The Spy also has a knife to backstab enemies and a sapper to disable The Engineer's buildings.
          In the game mode 'Mann vs. Machine', the game pits you against robots trying to drop a bomb into the disposal area marked 'Mann. Co'. Players have to cooperate with each other wave by wave to defend the area, no matter how big or small or deadly the robots are. There are upgrade stations which allows you to upgrade weapons and abilites.
          There are new stuff everyday in the Workshop, in which you are able to submit your ideas and if it is good enough, it may be selected to be put in the game in the future.

Club Penguin: The Party we've been waiting for: The Star Wars Takeover Party!

Hello jedi and penguins out there!

Club Penguin Is going to launch a "Star Wars Takeover Party" starting July 27 till August 14. ( 3 weeks is a long time for a Club Penguin party! A normal party lasts two straight weeks.) Following the recent "Monsters  University Takeover Party, the reason why this is happening is because Disney bought Lucasflim, which owns Star Wars, on October last year. As CP is licensed by Disney, Disney too purchased Marvel, which led to the first-ever Marvel Superhero Party, featuring the Avengers, which took place on June 2011.

The characters substitute the Star Wars characters as following:
Obi-Wan--Sensei
Leia Organa--Cadence
R2-D2-- Puffle
Luke Skywalker, Pilots, Stormtroopers, Han Solo, C-3po, Chewie--Ordinary Penguins
Darth Vader--Herbert P.Bear

Wild Ones: How to get Free Treats a.k.a How to get all three medals of 'Dressed to Kill' !

   Hello there dogs and cats!
  This is a good technique of how to get the medal 'Dressed to Kill' if you are a beginner in Wild Ones.

Step One: Download TSearch
2. Go to Wild ones accessories Mini Pets.
3. Press T Search. then press the first button that has a picture of a mircochip. ( Open Process)
4. Press the recent window that you have opened. ( E.g. the last chrome.exe)
5. Press Hex Editor and press the fifth button from the left 'replace'.
6. Replace Owl with Bee.
7. In wild Ones now press Unlock at the Owl.

Good bye, Skylanders Universe.

     The virtual world Skylanders Universe will close down on 29 April 2013 after a few years in the BETA period to make way for the new mini-games at the official "Skylanders Giants" website.
     That means that the codes that has been posted here earlier for this virtual world will be no longer valid.
      According to the admin, every thning in Skylanders Universe will be safely deleted and to 'comemerate the good times we had together' all players has been given 9,999,999 coins until the end to shop till they drop.
       Although  this has caused an uproar there is no turning back on this decision that Activison has made. All card codes will now be only available for the phone apps.

        Recently, the Minecraft 1.5 era has started!
 
      Versions 1.5 and 1.5.1 were introduced in March 2013 and here are the new privileges miners can enjoy:

Sadly, there is still no sign of the comeback of the legendary Herobrine.

Some of you may want to know how to name your mobs and items.  ( Mobs only available in creative mode) 

 1. Place an anvil anywhere you want to put it.

 2. In the first box you see, put the item/spawn you want to name there.

 3.  In the box named 'Repair and Name', type down the new name for your item/mob and take the similar looking item at the second or last box. You will notice that the item has a different name! (Operation cost 5 enchantment)

Nether Quartz is also introduced and death messages are really more detailed.

E.g. When you fall down from a cliff and die, the message will be '(Player) fell from a high place'.
